centurian mk3 has better armor and goes faster, there is no real comparison here

Better armor? I would say a frontal hull at 50mm sloped back at 70 degrees is great, along with a lower glacis that is 74mm at a 46 degree slope better then the Centurions. Along with the 240mm cheeks and 200mm turret ring (minus the 2 tiny 120mm spots) for the same BR, I would take the FV4202.

Regardless, you still get a 20 pounder, APDS, smoke launchers, and smoke shells. I'd say FV4202 wins in the hull protection, but the Mk.3 does a bit better in the turret department. Centurion is a bit faster (by 3km/h stock), but I can't really say either get you anywhere "fast" in the end.

I have never seen the front slope of FV 4202 bounce a shell, everything will always go straight through. Turret can bounce some stuff when you are not uptiered but anything higher BR will still go right through, also turret top is vulnerable.
You have more chance to survive in Cent Mk 3 altough not that much either.

Weird. I've watched FV4202's duel it out with Tiger II's and both have a bit of a tough time penetrating each other. Already aware of what a Centurion Mk. 3 will get you in terms of the armor department. Mind you I have also not played the high BR range in 2-3 months (to many aircraft flying around each game for me).
I prefer the 4202. The armour on the hull is great same gun as the centurion and still maintaining a blistering fast reload
Pretty much equal in speed except for the reverse on the 4202 which is appalling
the roof armor of the 4202 is garbage. everything can go trough.

The LFP and UFP on all british tanks are garbage, and the turrets are both ok at bouncing but have parts that are easily pennable, as they are made of Cast metal.

The roof of most tanks is garbage
