It rips at 925 kmph IAS, but even the 7.7 F-80C is incapable of reaching that speed
The only upsides to the thing are acceleration and firepower. You have to deliberately keep your speed slow, especially if you want to dive on targets below you, in order to not rip your wings off when you engage the enemy. And you carefully have to babysit it's speed, much like the Hunter or Javelin except to a greater extent as your rip speed isn't your max speed it's lower than your max speed. Plus it has no standoff weaponry, which means at 8.0 it's low speed will mean its borderline completely useless instead of situationally powerful like it is now.
