Why use the gunpods on the A-4B?

Yeah but the fire rate is 360rpm, that about the same as the MK103, and the spread is worse than the 20mm m3 cannon stock.

Why ask why to use the gunpods on the A-4B when you've clearly taken the decision not to use them based on your own experience?

Actually a more pertinent question is why are they firing so slow? I googled the pod and it’s supposed to fire almost ten times faster.
I’ve tried using it for ground attack in air RB and it seems the wing mounted cannons are doing most of the damage.
Does anyone find the gunpowder work well?

just gaijin being gaijin.

as for the RoF I find it quite ok, despite the low RoF the cannons are quite punchy so you can conserve ammo for attacking planes or ground targets.
