What's the difference between the t28 premium and the t95?
Is there any difference since they are the same tank?

The T95 has an extra set of tracks on both sides, giving it far more side armour as opposed to the T28s flat side armour. Aside from that, the T95 is 7.0 and the T28 is 6.3, and they both have exactly the same frontal armour, gun and ammunition.

T28 SHT: BR 6.3
Flat sides without tracks
T95 GMC: BR 7.0
Extra tracks providing sloped sides with some spaced armour values

Funny, an extra set of tracks for transport warrants for a 0.7 BR increase despite having the same gun, armour and speed.

Yup, just look at the Ki-61s. The only difference between the Ki-61-I otsu and Ki-61-I hei is armament, yet there's a whole 2.0 BR difference between them, with the otsu at 3.0 and the hei at 5.0. It's truely bizarre.

I think the reason why the T28 wasn't upped though was that Gaijin frankily forgot about it. It's not a very popular premium, I think I've literally seen 2-3 of them in actual games in over 2800 hours of playtime, but even still, it doesn't belong at 6.3 if the T95 is now 7.0.

Not much of a difference. The T95 is just a fatter T28, as in its just a T28 with the extra tracks on the side (quite literally). These help protect the sides a little. Personally i love my T28, its slow yes, but its amazingly quick to turn if your crew is decent and the armor, well its 303mm thick at its thinnest points in the front so you can figure that out. Same 105 and ammunition as the almighty T29 and T95.

Fun fact: Despite having the designation as a T vehicles (meaning it was only a test vehicle) it was deployed during the korean war but never saw combat. A grand total of 1 of 2 ever created was deployed and the other was forgotten about for several years in a field because the engine broke down or something like that, which they just found on accident one day

Well the t95 has way better side armor and the space also helps against various shells. Not to mention it is capable of nuetral turns

So... The same tank with just a minor extra protection from the sides means that it is fine to have a. 7 BR increase?
It's going to face post war shells. I am not going to drive it out for some time..
