Why is the War Thunder launcher so big?

My War Thunder Launcher is over 8.00Gb, and that is just the launcher! Other launchers I have for games are only 100-400Mb.

I believe the Initial download is 8GB, then it will download the rest of the game through the launcher. If you go into the files and check the launcher itself is only 5Mb or so.

I dont think that is true. I have a seperate program called War Thunder that itself is 15Gb.

I dont think that is true. I have a seperate program called War Thunder that itself is 15Gb.

The initial download contains a compressed version of the game.
The game counts as part of the launcher when size is being calculated.

I gave you all the information that you need earlier. I said that my Launcher is 8Gb and then the game is 15.2Gb. I want to know why it is so big and if anyone else's launcher is multiple Gb.

If you have the War Thunder Dev client, then yea, War Thunder (totaled together) exceeds 30gbs

Then there's no legitimate harm. You're more at risk going to self-pleasure sites than providing a screenshot that's been cropped and edited to remove any personal details that might stand out.

the launcher is roughly 9mb in size (yes megabytes not gigabytes !) including all files it needs to run. it's the same on all (Windows) systems no matter what the (never accurate) 'programs and features' say.

the launcher only needs three files to run (besides some windows dlls / files ofc) -
the launcher.exe, the launcherr.dat and the htmlayout.dll... that's it.
