How to link Gaijin acc to Steam acc?

Hello, my fellow players.

I have a WarThunder Gaijin account with progress. I played the game using a client I got from Gaijin. Lately, I've decided to play the game through Steam.

I signed in with Steam, after I have downloaded the game client from Steam, and found myself using a completely new and clean profile with zero progress. I have contacted Gaijin support team and they did unlink my Steam profile from Gaijin network.

So after doing this, and according to the official guide, what I was needed to do, is to start the game with Gaijin account and it should bind my Gaijin to Steam. I did that, I have signed into the game with Gaijin credentials and after the game started, I logged out, and logged in with my Steam to check if my genuine profile and Steam profile are synchronised. Unfortunately, I failed again.

I have already asked a Gaijin support team to unlink my Steam from Gaijin second time. so now I have a question. How do you link Gaijin to Steam? What did I do wrong?

You don't have to....
You can just literally login using the Gaijin Account and still have access to use Steam Wallet/DLC as long as you open the Launcher through Steam.
Sign-in through Steam Login is just a new Seperated Steam Account -_-

Thank you for the comment, but I want to link it together, since it is somehow possible and provided by Gaijin services.

sound you might have an account created under the steam account but you forgot it. also check the WT website, login with your "steam" account and look under accounts tab, if your account is not linked there should be a 'link account to steam' button on the available options.

Thank you for the comment. But...

As for today I don't have any Steam account connected to WarThunder. Thus I can not log into WarThunder web-site with my Steam account because my "via-Steam" account to WarThunder was already removed by Gaijin according to my request to developer's support team. So my Steam is completely clean in means of having something linked to Gaijin or WarThunder.

My question is simple as it is. How to link my existing Gaijin account to my Steam credentials? Anybody here succeeded in doing that? If yes, please, share with me your experience.

I have kinda the same problem. I got progress going on steam and i want to buy the a5c wich is not available on the steam store for some reason. I can only buy it in the gajin store and my gajin account isnt linked with my current steam account. And i cant link them either

Once you start a Steam account.. you can't link them.

So if you used the same email for your game platform Steam for your Gaijin which, ohhh, i'm guessing 99% of people do, you're screwed and can't link.

or you didnt di it before launching the darn game on steam the first time
