Bradley's are amphibious. Early models were equipped with a water barrier, which is erected by the crew before entering the water a procedure that takes about 30 minutes. Later models have an inflatable pontoon, which fits on the front and sides of the vehicle. This pontoon is inflated in about 15 minutes, and is continuously pressurized during operation. The pontoon is compartmentalized to provide protection against sinking in the event of rupture of the pontoon. Water propulsion is provided by tracks which propel the vehicle at about 4 MPH.
The vehicle's reliability, survivability and lethality has surpassed initial expectations. Of the 2,200 Bradleys involved in Operation Desert Storm, only three were disabled. In fact, more enemy armored vehicles were destroyed by Bradleys than by the Abrams Main Battle Tanks!
both of these points come from soldiers who have or are currently using the vehicles.
Doesn't matter you have to stop to shoot it..

This, exactly.
Swimming was possible, but only versions without the add-on armor kit.
They give it a crew of 3, but really there should be 2 more "crew" added to the rear compartment. These dismounts would load the TOWs, as well as usually have some very basic training on operating the vehicle.
While we're at it, the ammo belts are total fiction...The M2/M3 *NEVER* operate with HE and APDS or HE and APFSDS (M910) mixed into the same belts. The trajectory would be too different. Rather the gun is dual feed, meaning that changing ammo type is done instantly at the push of a button, with the first shot fired being whatever was loaded into the gun last, and then all subsequent shots being the selected new type.
The means when swapping from AP to HE, the first shot will fly way high over the target. When swapping from HE to AP, the first shot falls far short. However, there is no delay to swap types.
The two ready boxes are 70 rounds and 230 rounds. The classic cold war loadout was 70 rounds AP, 230 rounds HE, however this is not at all set in stone, and the vehicle can just as easily load 230 rounds AP and 70 rounds HE, or all AP, or all HE. There are typically at least 600 rounds stored, potentially more.
M1A2 M829 A2 round while your at it...
Not to mention maps that out of the city - M1 was not designed to fight in the streets...
Give us some maps...
Tanks
Would love an enduring confrontation on the Saipan Map 4.7 and above for tanks- let it run for 10 days. Winning team owns the most territory after the 10 day battle - when you spawn in, your tank is a replacement element assigned to one of five Company's across the front...
No element would over power another based on fast assault Tactics without risking being cut of from supply lines (AI) which would set up hasty displacement re-supply points (like the caps we have now), air assets would be able to attack these points forcing teams to deploy AAA assets to protect supply locations.
Just a thought - AAA assets down to Cat II should be allowed- allows new players to the game to be involved in a very fluid battle ..
