Scroll Wheel Brake
I use mouse aim, with scroll wheel for throttle. When I need to brake, it ends up making me rapidly scroll the wheel and even then it won't stay on brake for more than a split second, making stopping nigh impossible with some planes. Is there any way to make it stay on brake when I scroll to it instead? Like how when you push the throttle to WEP it stays on WEP without having to hold it.

Probably not with a scroll wheel, as there is no way to "hold" the scroll wheel. Either it scrolls forward, or it scrolls back, so it's good for incremental throttle input, but not really for brakes.

My personal solution was a custom keybind for the brakes, so that brakes are on for as long as I hold the key. It also lets you spool jet engines while holding the brakes, which can be beneficial depending on certain situations.

Put the brake on a button as the previous poster says its much better, I have throttle on the scroll wheel as well mainly for wep in battle , there is a way in settings to shorten how much scroll movement you have to do to go from 0-100% I will have a look when Im home how I got it set up.
