remove t-54 (1949), gaijin wants you to research the same tank twice!
why is this tank even here? its just the 1951 version withought heatfs, at the same BR! why should i have to research and buy the same tank twice, but one is just not given the same ammo choices? its not like removing it will make the grind to top tier shorter, its a foldered vehicle anyway, so why is it even there!

the conquerer and conq mk2 are literally one tank in warthunder, the bmp-1 has a mod that adds a much more modern rocket. why cant there be a t-54 (1949) with a (1951) modification that adds heatfs
Frankly there are so many inconsistancys in warthunder its hilarious and frustrating
Because the T-54s are ancient and have been in the game since the closed beta test for ground forces back in 2014.

Personally I don't exactly see the downside of getting *3* very good tanks in the same lineup.

I support this idea but then comes the question of doing this with certain other vehicles.

Should the M4A3 105 be merged with the 76 and get sets of upgrades to turn it into that version?

Should the M4A1 and M4A2 be merged with their 76 versions accordingly and use the same system?

Should the standard tech tree pershing and its macgyver up-armored big brother be merged and also be given the a similar set of upgrades?

I personally would prefer if we didn't have every single version of multiple tanks, and instead they were foldered into one main vehicle with can be modified in varying ways to fit specific needs or just for fun. Also if this were to happen what about premium tanks that are modifications of tech tree vehicles, should they be made into GE purchasable mods for said tech tree vehicle or should they be kept as separate vehicles entirely

Also what about options regarding certain attachments on armored vehicles? such as having the ability to close grenade baskets on the Aufkralungspanzer, or the version of the puma that uses its turret. Also being able to choose to equip the side-skirts of varying German medium tanks and TDs to reduce weight, or maybe even replace them with side-skirts of a different material. I would also like to see the ability to equip/unequip the mudflaps on most if not all of the tanks that have them in exchange for weight reduction as well.

I don't really see the problem. You get 3 T-54s. Foldered. At 7.7.

You need to play only one to get to rank six.

You get to make a nice line up at 7.7 with 47/49/51, ZSU-57-2 & obj 120, plus BMP-1 for fun.
You'll never have to touch those useless heavies to grind the T-10M, T-62, Shilka, etc.

It's a win-win.

From what I see in this post is that half of the planes in this game should be instantly removed because of minor changes. I would be truly happy if that was to occur which hopefully means less pathetic idiots in the sky trying to get easy kills.

this could actually indirectly solve the grind problem too!

You have variety in the lineup tho... there's a tonne of alternative tanks at the same BR for russia...

remove a tank to get variety. Logic.

if you say the effective differences between m19 and m42 you can say you reached your answer

people dont understand, even if a tank gets removed....as long as you had the tank/or account existed before they removed it....it'll still be there. The Ha-Go was removed for new players...but everyone who had it before they "removed' it....still had it. I for one, are one of those people. Besides I like all of the different versions of T-54s, and its a choice anyway to research all of them. You dont have to research all of them if you dont want to.....

So they can make you pay for it in an event every few years.

yeah, they saw what people would pay for the e100..............
Last I check, noone is even selling the E100 anymore. It was at $1000 and only 3 were on sale 2 days before the Maus was removed.

its not, however, a choice to research only the (1951), you have to research the same tank twice.
my solution was to combine the two like the conquerer 1 and 2, or bmp-1
