Wobble problem
I'm new to WT in pc, just got Thrustmaster flight hotas 4 (with no peddals) and I synced the controls to this device in realistic controls. However the aircraft (of all kinds) is wobbling when yaw (pitch and roll are fine).
I tried to change the sensitivities and linears features, nothing helped. It's realy annoying, I can't do dogfights and it is also harder to attack ground targets with that wobbling. How do I fix this? Please help

How are your sticks registering? Make sure it's not a hardware input issue. Check it using another game.

The same thing happens when you use a controller. I gave up and use a mouse now. No more wobble

Joysticks are pretty much only for Sim matches in WT.

In AB & RB using mouse aim is the preferred input method.

The amount of wobbling differs between planes, some are ok, some wobble like mad.

Try some adjusting of the axes settings.

Keep Sensivity at 100% as it mostly just adds some delay/averaging over input values, so it's only good if you have serious spiking in your hardware or something like that.

Then tinker around with Non-Linearity.
Many like higher values than 1.0 giving them finer control at the center/low-deflection while sacrifing finer control on high deflection.

Many go as far as having different joystick axes settings for different planes.

Use yaw only in really small amounts cause it leads to wobbling in WT.

Even with some joystick setting experimentation some planes are highly unstable and wobbly-prone (Spits f.e.).

Check the official forum section on gaming controllers for some guides and more explanations regarding the settings:

Thank you for the comments.
This isn't hardware problem cause it works perfectly in Rise of Flight for exmple. It happens in every plane I used, some are more wobbling than others. I use the Japanese reserve planes for now. I tried to play with the sensitivity and non linearity and it didn't help much, I will try your advice to use the yaw more lightly.
I could use a mouse, but than it will be less fun and will only be good for grinding some day. Maybe I should try SB

In FULL REAL CONTROLS.
Almost all props experience Tourqe from the engine. This is best shown durring take off when the plane yaws violently to the side. While in the air it can cause a slight roll or yaw to manifest, or if bad enough, wobbling. Set controls to trim the aircraft and mess with it until it stops.

That or you have MEC on without auto-prop control and are at a lower engine thrust than the prop should be feather too. This can cause intense shaking that might seem like wobble.

Also props that have either Counter roating engines (one prop spins clockwise, the other counter clockwise) will have little to to no tourqe on the aircraft. Some twin prop aircraft like the VB-10-C1 / 02 and the S.O. 8000 Narval have 2 props that rotate in opposite directions, completley removing the yaw and tourqe effects.

There is also no trainer in Full Real even in RB which deals with this for you in Mouse Aim. In Arcade this is all non-existent.

This ain't about normal torque effects from the engine.

It's a wobble (mostly in yaw) that happens when you use the yaw controls and makes the nose of your plane wobble from left to right and vice versa (because the tail of the plane moves this way).
And these are also not pilot induced oscillations.

This happens on a lot of planes on joystick controls (basically any control mode without instructor, and of course you use those with a joystick) since 1.28.

Tinkering with non-linearity may help a bit with this.
But on some planes you will near to always suffer from this.

Trimming will help you jack shít.

If you use anything but mouse with instructor, this is present in all modes.
Actually it's often worse in AB, as AB gives you an unrealistic amount of authority over the nose of the plane with yaw, exacerbating the effect.

This effect is way less present in other flight sims, yet present in all modes of WT if you use anything but mouse aim with instructor. Making precise aiming with joysticks a pain in the backside in WT.
