STRV - 103A/O , a complete joke.

You will get hit by high velocity/ modern chemical rounds, which will ended up getting fires, yes, your armor is very thicc and slope. But the thing is, the fuel tank on your left and right side is not so armored, so you will get fire by that. You will be set on fire a lot of times, if they set you up on fire 2 times you will dead since gaijin only give player 2 fpe.

trying to snipe ? you will get chemical round and High Velocity round or ATGM up to your face which will kill your engine, and no no no, you can't fire back coz the Tank use whole new level of turretless aiming, your gun cannot even move a milimeters horizontally, so you can only depend on your Hull. So engine died -> you died.

the repair cost is also joke, 9k sl stock for this garbage ? tf gaijin.

I don't play the strv103 much, but when I do I usually hide behind a hill and use the suspension to have an almost horizontal armor. most shots will bounce, however if a HESH shell hits you you're doomed. hopefully, not many people use HESH.

HESH shells are the nemesis of this tank, since the more angled the target is, the more damage it does.

Honestly, I fully agree with this bloke about the Strv 103 being a joke. I love the tank and it is extremely fun to play but the hull aiming is still so horribly broken and leads to stupid things like rolling downhill while trying to aim, not to mention the fact that you sneeze at this thing and it lights on fire then you have to just sit there defenseless until they eventually kill you

yeah, nobody really seems to use HESH, which is a good thing for people playing the strv103. when used properly, HESH shells could do a lot of damage, but I guess people don't want to bother with it

the 4.0s reload is good, i usually use it for brawling in tight areas and sit there till you get flanked ( like poland and normandy ), but yeah, once you catch a shell you will likely to burn.

Both of those are inaccurate. Its irl reload is 3s and the fuel tanks on the side are external and a fire in them wouldn't hurt the crew. The main 30mm armour plate from the lower hull runs all along the side of the hull and separate them from the fuel tank. A fire has no way to reach the inside of the tank.
