Air RB 8.7 ruined

The recent update preventing 9.7s from seeing 10.0s or 10.3s has literally ruined 8.7.

Its practically impossible to not see a game where Hunter FGA's, G.91 YS's and F-100's aren't roflstomping the hell out of you.

Hell, for the fun of it anyone that bought the Hunter FGA.9 is now getting endless sealclub with its Aim 9E's as every game is a perpetual downtier.

Sure, it was bad 9.7 planes meeting 10.3's but this was not the solution, playing 8.7 now is essentially a game of death where you're basically trying to get lucky kills where an enemy makes a mistake, rather than having an actual balanced match.



Ontop of that, I have to pay 13-14k repair cost in my Swift F.7 to get outran, outmanuevered and outgunned / missiled by a British Premium with a tiny repair cost... I cannot see how this is fun or balanced.

Any other players of this bracket in Air RB, what are your thoughts?

Wait till you see the US F-104A and C is getting downtiered to 9.7.

10.3 is even worse right now, since you can't do ♥♥♥♥ unless you're playing a mig 21 or a phantom

It wasn't mentioned in the patchnotes, it was one of those silent changes. Its been going on since April as far as I know.

So yeah, most people don't even know about it. I regularly fly the jets around that BR though and noticed it become nearly unplayable, which is why I'm complaining 'bout it now lol.

Imagine playing the Javelin vs an FGA.9 or F-100 / G.91 YS every match. xP Both BR's get screwed over with this change.

Give it 2 years of development, too much going on at the highest ranks right now. Until then, play what works at the moment, is probably a good idea. Some gaps need to be filled with jet planes, and its gonna take a while.

yep too compressed, i'm trying to spade french jets with the ouragan and mystere 2C and i'm seeing lots of uptiers(to 8.7) caused by the no 9.7 uptier.
