Controls for playing in vr.

Hello,

I recently got the oculus rift S, and I would like to try some war thunder with it.
I managed to launch the game in vr but I can't setup the controllers. Is there no way to use the joysticks and triggers from the controllers? Our can you only play using a keyboard and mouse.

you can set up a controller, but i mean its warthunder you are better off using mouse because you get easy fly mode and auto aim

I use wartog in vr works great....takes a while to set up though.

KB and mouse is definitely the way to go for ground forces imo but yeah you can use controllers.

Btw WT has a surprising well polished vr mode BUT if you want to look behind you in a tank and you're playing sitting down then you'll need to physically stand up and turn around like a meerkat (the mammal, not the military vehicle). This puts you at a slight disadvantage.

Ive been searching everywhere for help on this, how do I set up the controls though, it appears there are only options for flight sim joystick setups and keyboard and mouse.
