Where can I find Gaijin Entertainment's recent financial statements?
As I cannot seem to find it myself, I would like to hear if any of you know where to find it at? Thanks in advance.

Pretty sure they aren't publicly traded, as in there's no reason for them to make their financials public.

Alright, thank you. So obviously I don't know Russian law, but I assumed they were available since for a company that size where I live - in Denmark, such financial statements would be required available for the public.

depends on the firm and laws my dude. Finnancial statements are only useful for investors... etc I assume you want to track their finnancial history and operations or something?

Transparancy regarding the financial status of a company is always advantageous for the company if it is doing its business legally, and it is required on different levels depending on the company's size here in Denmark. I am curious about how Gaijin Entertainment invests and spends their earnings, how profitable is the company etc. So I guess you could say my interests are unprofessional as it is purely to get some insight.

Not at all, I just want to know more about the company that has developed a game I have played for 7 years.

They are not publically traded, so they don't have to publish their numbers.

Simple as that.

Google tells me they are merging with Gaea and will offer an IPO later. That would include some disclosures but the exchange they use will dictate the extent of them. Russian and Chinese game companies are not really known for their transparency.

Transparency with Gaijin , man what a classic.
I wonder if anyone has added up what this game can actually cost if you pay to win everything right out to its limits, all crews planes everything.
Have to sell the house to pay for it lol !

Ive seen people say, oh you can level right up everything for 400 bucks, but that is so not true.

Take into account, a player who might buy EVERYTHING, boosting research, every premium plane there is in every nation, we are absolutely talking thousands and thousands of dollars.

Now, there are heaps of people with more money than sense, so it stands to reason Gaijin is worth literally millions of dollars, just at a guestimate.

Ask yourself how many people you have seen in premium planes, how many times one has shot you down, there are folks out there that do buy everything, that have zero patience to grind.

Gaijin rely on this to make there big money, its a clever business plan, even if over priced, no doubt about it.

But share there book work and financial data, on a company not floated on the stock market with shares, not likely, and a Russian company, who knows what Russian tax laws are like.

Russian and Chinese anything are not really known for transparency about anything at all really !

Such would not be public info, afaik.

I won't doubt your provided reason, but I think "most people" would have a much... different angle... for requesting such info.

Huh... learn something new every day. Was never aware of this until you mentioned it... But seems legitimate enough :?

At points, that was more true than not. Back in 2012, 2013, --yes-- you could pretty much get "end-game" content for a nation with $100-200. Also worth noting that there were --only-- airplanes, and that the tech trees at the time were probably only a third (perhaps less?) of what they are today.

By the time that you multiply out for the sheer quantity of content, (Aim for the high side, and say current trees are 4x what they were), $800 to reach end-game stuff (approximately 160,000 GE, for one aircraft nation).... sounds "about right".

FWIW- Gaijin has ALWAYS been a for-profit. They have never masqueraded as a charity or NFP. So the idea that they're "out there to make big money" and "have a clever business plan" should surprise... nobody.

Also FWIW, their "over priced" stuff, while I will concede that it can be expensive, at full price tends to be less than the competition, and that Gaijin has historically been very good about offering very-nearly-global-everything-included 50% off sales twice a year.

Maybe ask Cyprus, as Gaijin likes to hide there to avoid taxes)))

Just a small note here, you can't just generate RP out of thin air. Even to buy to boost research with GE and skip grinds, you'd still have to play hundreds of hours in the first place to earn all of that convertible RP.

Yes you can use the GE to convert, but like you said, people may say you can just buy everything flat out but you can't, still have to earn the RP in the first place to convert it.
