Does it get better after 5.3 USA ground?

Been playing a lot lately, carried at early T3, now at late T3 (5.3) I can hardly get any kills on anyone and I'm usually uptiered to face Tiger II's and IS2's. Posting this here because I want to know if there's anything better after this to look forward to.

as much as people hate to say it, this game has a very bad learn to play....

you at 5.3 are about to enter the 5.7 zone. It is going to get nuts and worse.

this does NOT get better, when you get to 6.7, all those tanks that killed you are now getting bullied by 7.7.

It really is a learn to play, personally I stopped playing 6.7 for about 3 months, I couldn't face it.

Back when I faced the 6.7 zone of death, t10 was at br 7.7, means my tiger 2h used to play BLOW UP or RUN AWAY a lot.

Stick with it, it does get better as you get better.
Today, I'm not bothered with what br i play but it took time.

NOW on a second thought, you are playing usa, they have recently had a massive br increase right across the br range you are playing.
And the germans got a decrease in at least the tiger to 5.3, a tank that was happy for years at 5.7.
This means that things like the t20 was a br 5 when I first got it, now it's a 5.7.
You are fighting better vehicles today than we used to.

There could be several reasons, I am not going to get into that, that already has it's own threads on WT forum.
I will say BR changes not because of just the vehicle but also how we the player base USE the vehicle.

Stick with it.
Personally having all the vehicles now, I realise that top br is not best br, it depends on what you like. Me I'm 3.3 to 8.7.
You will find your happy br range.
Remember this is not the other game, you can use anything to research anything.

Thank you for the information, I play AB to even have a chance of fighting, RB when I'm feeling lucky. Playing RB, my BR goes from 5.3 to 5.7.

5.7 USA is a pain in the ass, facing KT with 76mm guns that can barely go through a Panther that's at your own br. The BR increase of almost all 5.3 american vehicles to 5.7 was one of the worst things that has happened in this game and completely killed the fun for me in playing USA at all.

If you want ez mode just switch to Germany. USSR works as well but I prefer the vehicles of the German nation more.

The game won't get better the higher the BR it is, you've basically hit the sweet spot already for USA, you won't find anything good until 10.3 again.

Just my opinion.

The thing that jumps my BR to 5.7 is the M18. It's 4.7 AB, 5.7RB which is just nuts. I've thought about buying some premiums to help but not really sure..

I might grind USSR after USA for the T-80u (hottest tank other than M1A2 IMO)

M18 has been bullying german tanks for centuries, it used to be 5.0 (horrible br) and then bumped up to 5.3, which it stayed for, until now.
Now it sits at 5.7 and even though I have to say it probably is fair compared to other 5.7s, it is one of the worst vehicles when facing 6.7s.
The gun can barely manage to deal with other targets at its own br, but in a full uptier, you can only go for sideshots. With the speed you should still be able to flank, but depending on the map that can sometimes be impossible.

Still better than the Easy 8, no idea what the hell you are suppose to do with that thing in a full uptier.

ab, rb, different games, both fun, both good.
DON'T listen to rubbish when people say rb is better.

Most of them couldn't last 2 mins in ab but when you do decide to move to rb, you will be ok.
In ab you learn to hide and where others hide on the maps.....you can see them, it's ab.
that works well in rb.

Have fun at the bits of this game that YOU find fun.

AB match maker also tries to even out the br in a game, won't always be perfect or exact.
if you have 6 6.7 and a few lower, they should have 6 6.7 and a few lower.
What country is playing doesn't mater.

In RB it's br range. Means it can be a bit more uneven.....sometimes, not often, badly.

RB matchmaking works the same as AB matchmaking, if its a 16v16 game then there are 4 max tier, 4 second-max tier, 4 second-lowest tier and 4 lowest tier.

You gotta flank so that they won't be facing you, take longer routes where enemy presence is minimal and stay on the move. M18 is really terrible to fire on the move and it takes forever to stabilise the gun after stopping, so take that in account.

This is ofc only applies to pre 5.3 M18, now at 5.7 if you get uptiered your speed advantage becomes useless because there are so many other fast vehicles at 6.7 that will neglect your strength.

On the m18 thing, this is a learn to play thing, people can't learn, so UP goes the m18.

For me, there was 3 games, my kt2h got shot in the bum in all 3 games by a m18 and killed.

I threw a fit........went a little nuts.

I changed the way I played after that, I already knew it but didn't do it much, HEADPHONES.

Stop your tank and LISTEN. Stop every now and again, do it randomly.

I have never been shot by m18s since that I did not hear first, does not mean I can turn my turret fast enough when there are 2 of the dam things, but they make a lot of noise.

Last week I got shot in the bum by a russian t34, heard them coming, one front, one back, i can only kill one.......does my bad play mean the t34 gets a br increase.

People don't like thinking tiger players are bad, move to 5.3, m18 players are real good, 4.7 for years then 5.7.....

Ouch, recommend against it, the XM-1 is the only prem that sits at 9.3 where you will get matched against 10.3 almost every match and get completely destroyed.

Other nations have it easier seeing that their prems are at 9.0 which is downtier galore.

But there aren't really many other options so if you really want to grind USA then go for it, be prepared to not have fun (imo XM-1 is one of the most boring vehicles ive played).

Keep in mind top tier USA isn't about quality but about quantity, your tanks will be worse than the tanks you will face but your advantage is you have a lot of them.

yes and no, you are correct about the top vehicles....not the rest, rest can be badly uneven.
It can only use the players playing. it will be even on a perfect day but that will not happen much I'd guess.

So one side could have what you said, the other could have
4 6.7
12 5.7
or any combination of br you can think about. Look at what is around you when you play a game, keep an eye on what is killing you. Apart from the top 4, rest is mixed.

Couldn't agree more, it's common knowledge that Germany mains are, uhm, "interesting". Even though they have really good, in some cases, best vehicles at a particular br, they still fail to use it which means the vehicle has ♥♥♥♥ stats so gaijin decreases the br meanwhile increasing the opposition.

I still take my Panther over any other 5.7 in the game any day in the week.
