how to shake someone off your tail?

when dogfighting I can't get rid of someone following me, 2 bursts and im dead
how do I outmanuever them?

using the 2nd USA plane, 1.7 and im getting outturned by reserve planes

Don't try and out-turn biplanes in monoplanes, they'll win every time, go into a moderate angle dive instead and outrun them, they're significantly slower than monoplanes, then once you've gotten some distance on them, say about 1.5-2km, turn around and re-engage.
