Late war german tanks were good on paper but tended to suffer from serious design flaws in the field caused by their rushed production (the Panther would have its fuel line broken by rough terrain fairly regularly for example). They were also impossible to maintain in the field at anything approaching peak condition due to tons of highly specialized parts and terrible design decisions. For example: the Panther's suspension, while excellent, couldn't be repaired in the field since you had to take the entire top of the tank off to get at the core components. That meant many Panthers were running around with busted suspensions at the end of the war (or got stuck when too many roadwheels lost their suspension). The advanced gunsight on the Panther was far better than what anyone else had as well, but required precision machining and parts to maintain that just weren't available on the front lines, so Panther crews tended to have to disable the advanced features as they broke and then they were worse off than what most other German tanks had.

The biggest problem with games like this is that they pit prototype and extremly rare vehicles against mass-produced vehicles on an even playing field. That is silly. The Maus was in reality a useless tank since it couldn't be transported by rail (too tall and wide for the train tunnels) and was too heavy to reliably use off of paved surfaces (it would sink and get stuck on most open terrain in Germany). Yet it is in this game as though it was a functional tank.
YEAH, thats tank arcade, only game mode I play.

thats the dumbest thing ive ever heard. NO THE KT RARELY PENS THE FRONT
http://i.imgsafe.org/623d3e2f45.png
If my IS-2 model 1944's BR-471B can pen those green-spots, I don't see any bloody reason that your so bloody precious PanzerKampfWagen VI ausf B. model Henschel "King Tiger"'s PanzerGranate 39/43 bloodycan't.

In other words: git gut
git gud..yeah NO not when RNG BS is in the way. Your IS2 has a giant 122mm nuke cannon, thats diffrent than the pak 43 that the tiger II has. A large caliber gun such as sturer emil can UTTERLY DESTROY a T29 frontally.

Are we playing the same game? Because if your Tiger II H with more penetration can kill the gunner and destroy the paper breach since game is about penning. Oh, I forgot to say, my friend's Tiger II H Sla has penned T29 frontally trough turret trough the exact same weak-spot.

Finally, of the 2 guys that I know that own a T29, they both don't like it so much that even one ain't willed to use it on Squadron Battles

So learn These weakspots[i.imgsafe.org] and git gut.
Also I forgot, if you are exclusively relating on the pen indicator to shoot, then I recommend to relate more on knowledge than indicator: they are more truthworth as well as will let you have quicker reactions.

USA, tanks have very weak hull, even in tier 5, that is the place you should shoot frontaly, right in the lower chassis part.

Pretty sure that Hitler was high on various 'medications' (aka Crystal meths) at the time he demanded the MAUS go into production. Pretty much everyone else could see it was an expensive and silly folly.

It's funny how some private profile trolls out some nonsense in 2 posts at the start and the community then discusses his nonsens over a couple pages. Meanwhile OP is long gone.

It doesnt matter what you saw, only facts and numbers dont think youre fooling anyone, The T29 is as weak as the other pershings and such and still suffers greatly from inccorrect armor, while the germans always get invinsible mantlets and are always getting paired with russians with the IS2 ,you just are delusional with fustration of how skilled the T29 players must be, maybe you could have catched up if you tried to git gud too bad...
