Leopard 1 IS AWFUL (stock version***)

I can't even understand why this tank is still in this game?
This tank has *0* competitive advantage against his foes.
It has mediocre+ mobility.
Mediocre cannon (APDS shells).
People are saying that it is a "good flanker" but it has no stabilizer! So the enemy have like 5 seconds to kill you.
No armor AT ALL, you will get penetrated EVERY SINGLE TIME!


I have killed more helicopters with the tank's machinegun than actual tanks with this turret.

Did you try any other 7.7 vehicles? It's one of the best tanks at that BR. It's very mobile, it doesn't hullbreak, has HEATFS and very good optics. What more could you want from an early MBT? Armor doesn't mean anything at that point and stabilizers would have upped its BR by at least two steps.

STB is pretty awful unupgraded too. Sure it has a stabilizer, but the gun angles are horrible. You have to use the suspension for everything, which can only be done while stationary and takes a few seconds to change. It's pretty difficult to do well with.

1. DIdn't spend a shekel at all, went through the seven gates of hell to reach this point. (buying 5 different versions of a panther).

2. Using stock leopard.

3. Ironically I am almost always at the top of the my teams leaderboard, because most leopard players get gangbanged before I do. THOSE F*CKING SWEDISH TANKS.

4. Didn't know *rushing the enemy* means trying to flank the entire major combat area.

The leopard is only good at open maps, but half of the time I get close quarters map that no one likes.

I haven’t spent a nickel on this game yet I have the leopard, Maus, coelian, panther 2, even a helicopter! The grind for parts and FPE in the leopard is admittedly annoying but you just have to steal cap zones 24/7, the APDS is honestly one of my favorite rounds in the game, if you know where to shoot you and pen or disable every tank you meet

Absoloute pain of a grind for me, never touched them since. they are too slow to get to a good position and they have no armor whatsoever, to top it off, the leo 1s APDS is sub par and the heatfs is situational the A1 is nearly the exact same but 1.0 br higher because at the end of its grind it gets the apfsds round which finally makes it viable.

Problem with APDS is that post pen damage is not stellar.
So unless you pen the ring or the sides. you won't kill the tank.

The only thing that I can say positive about the leopard that it forces me to be a better player.
And that it is beautiful.
