I would love for this monster to come out again. Been playing since 1.69 and I'm wondering have they ever brought this plane back out as an event after the initial release? I would love to have this in my hangar one day.

It was was made available twice. Once for the Indian Summer event, and once again a few years ago. It hasn’t been offered again. But who knows.

"monster".... that has been clubbed with a nerf bat with some frequency at this point... (IIRC it's had armor issues forever, armament incomplete, BR made it useless for a while because not enough people played it to show its BR was inappropriate, etc).

The PS4 A-26C-45DT is a much better plane (More armaments, and gets the SL multiplier).


It's been offered at least a handful of times, but as Shadow says, not with any frequency.

Initially offered with a $2,000+ MSI laptop, then available at Indian Summer. Since then, it has been used in facebook/"social media" giveaways, occasional promotions, and the biggest insult (to me as a collector, anyways) was when a german magazine screwed up and a ton of people ended up getting codes for the A26C45, making it as common to see as any "normal" plane for months.

While it has not been offered in quite some time, it is one of the more rare birds (Maybe not LaGG-3-4 status, but still), and I don't foresee it being offered any time in the nearest future. It may end up being some kind of promotional in the future.... but I would not bet on it being "the near future".

Thanks, for the post. I do hope to see at least the premium variant one day. As a fellow collector who loves this game, I really hope to see this gem one day, that and the German premium BF109 G2 amoungst others.

Romanian G2?

IIRC this was for sale for GE not tooooooo long ago. I don't remember when specifically, but I am pretty sure I only picked mine up within the last year or so.

Edit: Maybe I am remembering wrong and I bought it as a part of a larger bundle in 2018, I cannot remember anymore.

I would have thought you'd be after the 109Z :D

I do have the Italian Romanian G2. I was like yaaaaas! And then I saw it was for Italy. I unfortunately didnt start playing until after they removed the G2 from the store for Germany. Its the one plane i was waiting for since i started playing. I started playing around 1.69, Not long before the Zwilling released. I bought the 109Z immediately lol. I still fly it today and get around 7 to 9 kills a match with a very rare death now and then from mistakes and greed. It kind of stomps in Arcade and can even be flown up to 5.7 easily. Please dont ever tell Gaijin that.
