Crafting Event: Not Able to Sell Camo on Market

Is anyone else able to sell a camo on the market? It says it can't be sold on the market, but there are very clearly people buying and selling them.

I have the same problem. I already got the Object 279 skin and it says it's not tradable. I was really disapointed, and I don't get how some people can sell their skins. Maybe they will be tradable after the event is over?

Not according to what Gaijin explicitly stated in the event article. I've heard rumors that people bought the skins for high sums of money thinking they were buying the vehicle itself and Gaijin stopped additional offers to sell because of it. But why not take away the option to purchase the handful of skins left?
Shady stuff, and super disappointing in general. My friend and I grinded out the skin with the intention to sell it because the skin looks horrible but sold well. Now, even if they are to make it available tomorrow or at the end of the event, the price will PLUMMET and make all that effort essentially worthless.
Of course, no news from Gaijin on this still, even where its mentioned on the forums mods just so happen to skip over that post and look at the ones before and after. Gaijin really digs their own graves with these events, the crafting itself already looks sketchy with whether you will be able to even get all the vehicles without using the market and then add this to the mix. Hard to say I'm surprised honestly, but you'd think they'd learn already.

Beware its almost criminal false advertising the tank is not for sale on the market the object 279 experimental black as its called is just the skin do not buy it for a high price thinking its the tank.

Again, you'd have to be dumb to not notice that. All the other skins on the market don't have "skin" or anything on the title, but have it clearly marked as skin, tank camo in the tags under the name. Under that, it even says "Experimental black camouflage". The picture even shows the black skin itself, which is drastically different than the green one shown everywhere else. Its just dumb people thinking they are snagging a (expensive) deal on a tank without even looking what they are buying. If people buy it thinking its the tank, that's on them.
What's on Gaijin is making it so people who have the skin can't sell it for whatever reason, whether people mistakenly buying the skin is the reason or not.
