I am somewhat better at planes compared to tanks, I am going for jet in SU tree. (Around 6)
I never tried navy. I still have the reserve ships
This Youtuber is pretty informative about tanks in the German tech tree: https://youtu.be/GsCIbQ6TKIQ
The only thing I can tell you from the information given is that you should consider dropping German ground forces if you play (or intend to) realistic battles. German teams on the ground are full of newbies and extremely poor players, there's no need to add more.
In RB, patience is the key. Use your binos, stay in cover and scout out all areas before moving to them. Use your map and look where friendlies are, and where spotted enemies are.
The Panzer IV series from F2 onwards have amazing guns. Use the stock APCBC rounds and snipe, your armour isn't strong enough to brawl. If you're having trouble penning certain tanks, preview them and use the armour viewer to find their weakspots.
1.) Pros and Cons
2.) Best ways to angle your tank for maximum armor effectiveness (At least for the tiger)
3.) Environments the vehicle excels in
Also, try to take note of where you, as a play excel in, I have found I excel in Urban areas with the Tiger II series, and that's where I get most of my killstreaks until some Korean War BMP1 decides to snipe me with an ATGM
You got this!
No, really.
I play this game on and off, every 1-2 weeks, and when I come back, I am always amazed that I, the expert, veteran fighter guy, gets owned the first few games.
Then I remember / re-learn the lessons, learn to fly all other again, remember the performances of various airplane models....
When you start, you WILL lose to players because a lot of peeps have 3000+ hours on this.
Whether airplane, tank or ship.
