Honestly the Tiny Tims are just as deadly and the RP-3s are deadlier at the same BR.
And this is also the A-3 model, not the A-1.
As for the A-1 OP, it's decent, it does a lot of things well but will lose 1-on-1 fights with many types of aircraft as well. Trying to keep pace with a 109 in the vertical fight isn't possible, and trying to out-turn several maneuverable fighters like A6Ms or Spitfires won't work either. It really works with diving or single-pass attacks, then returning with an altitude advantage if you don't get the kill the first time.
I never really had issues with the BF109, but this thing turns on spot as well as it has insane ammounts of firepower. He then ran towards his base, because he was reloading or smth and I couldn't catch him in my FW190. This does not seem okay.
Its opposition in 3.0 aircraft include the Bf109 E-4 (1940) and Yak-1B/Yak-9 (1942).
What is most ridiculous is that in under-tiers the J-21 can go up against 2.0 or even 1.7 aircraft.
If you kill a J-21 in an aircraft that's of similar BR, it was definitely not because you flew the better aircraft.
Only an idiot though will fight in symmetric dogfights on the J-21.Use it as a BnZ or BnR aircraft and you'll be mostly untouchable. Thankfully Allied teams and players tend to be sub-par on average, and that tends to balance the odds.
Its strongest ability is a community who will congaline into headons against anything with nose mounted weapons better than their own Wing mounted weapons.
It does have good turn, but cant count on it keeping up with a Yak or a Zero.
There is one serious flaw they supposedly made. The 20mm is based off the early Hispanos, and they gave it too much ammo. It should be closer to the early French Hispanos. The A-2 and A21A have the correct ammo count though.
In the closed beta, yes, but the J22 has terrible climb and maneuverability, and locks up at speed. The bump on battle ranking has really caused the J22B to become something that loses preference.
The B-18 has can maneuver well, and benefits from a fighter community that loves putting engine and pilots against the muzzle of a Bomber's rear gunners (Swedish gunners have highly effective weapons.)
The B-17 is simply a good plane in maneuvers as well, causes those who think they're fighting a V-156 to get taken for a ride, but that aside is largely inferior to the Su-2 series.
