And large maps are still fun with slow tanks, usually slow tanks have good armour, and good armour is hard to penetrate at range.
Realistic and Simulator modes give players Realistic and Simulator gameplay (ok SB isn’t SB in tanks, but whatever), while players with short attention spans have Arcade Battles for Arcade gameplay.
Then go play WoT[i.kym-cdn.com]
Wow... a high maintenance tanker.

1. Lineups are important for tank battles. Often people complain “this vehicle isn’t for this style of combat!” Bring a different vehicle, you have the option to spawn what you want. If you want to play a M4A1 over a M10 on Kursk, you’re own fault.
2. Even so, slow tanks are not bad on big maps. Like mentioned, they usually have either good armour (hard to penetrate at range) or big guns (when else do you get a chance to kill tanks from 1.5, 2, 2.5+ km?)... if not both. Get a big map? Slow tanks are the best tanks on a big map, either bounce everything, snipe everything, or both.
