SU 100P vs ASU85?
Why is the ASU85 6.3 but the SU 100P is 6.7 when it has less pen.
What is so much better about the SU100P?

mobility.
But i looooovvveeeee the asu-85.
The SU 100 is a Object 120 variant, it has the D-10T gun at 6.7, which is pretty good. I've used the SU 100 and it was a great TD. The turret can rotate about 90 degrees left and right, it has neutral steering, it is fairly mobile, and has access to a good selection of shells. I think the frontal glacis also has an extreme enough angle that it can ricochet some shots, too. I definitely recommend it if you plan on researching the rest of that line towards the BMPs

SU-100P shot is bigger, and can carry twice as much explosive filler
it's top shell also has more pen than the conventional shell the ASU uses

I personally have never had good luck with the ASU-85, but the SU-100 and its variants are all pretty good.

I agree, although the SU-100 doesn't get smoke
SU-100P also have slightly better optics than ASU-85, x4.0 vs x5.5.

that is very cool
SU-100P is garbage and should be accessed earlyer than PT-76B or ASU-85 as those are more modern TDs with both having HEATFS and smokes, and in addition PT-76B has stabiliser.

PT-76 has a long ass reload and the worst HEATFS round available in the entire game
the ASU-85 has a decent gun but a terrible profile as well as awful mobility.
The SU-100P really is the best tank in the line (at least in RB)

ASU 85 got lolpen heatfs. as a fair low profile and nice range. SU100p is extremely weak to machinegun fire since it's op. so don't get spotted from aircrafts else you can just J out it will be a better result.

the ASU has like 5-7mm of roof armour. It is also weak to aircraft and dies pretty much just as fast
