The upside is there are some small silver lion bonuses for certain squad actions (having the best squad score or something gets you some i believe) and you get to work as a team and cover each others backs and repair each others tanks
The game will often randomly assign you a squad just for a battle if you go in solo, so you can even still get the squad rewards and squad benefits
But don't confuse a squad with a "clan " I think that's what he meant. Mechanical's definition of squad is correct but i think Max meant is joining a clan. The benefits from that is learning how to team play, best squad bonuses ETC. Bunch of clans out there to join and learn from.
Find a squadron, that plays same time as you, talks same language and people you enjoy playing the game with and never look back at pro/cons ever again.
WT is the only multiplayer game I play, my game time varies so getting together is hit or miss. I have a headset w/mic not sure how to set in game Squad Speak. I've seen squads or are they clans in games but how do get in the same random game. Pros vs Cons that's the question, thanks for all the replies that will help me decide if its worth the hassle?
