M60A1 Rise Worth it?

Is the M60A1 rise worth it anymore since its facing APFSDS constanly.

I think the bigger issue is the composite armour it will come up against

The biggest problem with all M48 and M60 tanks, the engine.

If it had a 1000hp engine it would be ok, but its a slow turd. It's just a slow easy to pen tank with ammo no better then tanks at lower br then it.

Pretty much ALL the M60 and variants should be 7.0-8.3 IMO.

I play the M60s a lot, and I can confirm that this is mostly untrue. Yeah in full uptiers you'll be lolpenned more often then not, but compared to tanks of the same BR and slightly above (not even mentioning the 7.7s it can fight) you have more than enough protection to survive quite a lot of hits. Well, except from the A1A1 L44 undertiered death machine that is.

or any aphe shell that has 200mm or more of penetration, let's not lie to ourselfs, the tank is good, but the turret is worse than a jumbo, anybody playing the russians or germans will rarely shoot at you more than 2 times to instantly blow your ammo up.
