HTC Vive Vertical Split Screen Help

Is there any way to disable the vertical split screen effect when launching War Thunder in VR mode with the HTC Vive? I'm wanting to record better quality videos or stream them better in OBS Studios but the split screen effect on my LG monitor's 1920x1080p resolution is causing a problem when recording quality videos.

When in split screen, the resolution of each half of the monitor is 960p and then I have to stream one of those halves but then that means the resolution of that recording or stream drops like a rock because I have to zoom in quite a bit on the pixels.

If I can't get rid of it, are there any alternatives?
