B-25j vs B-25j-20
So I spent about 5 years just to get the b-25j-20 so I could get the b17. Is there even a difference between the two?

The B-25J-20 has a -20 at the end of it.

-20 is Rank III, BR is .3 higher (in AB and RB), one more 12.7 in the nose, free repair time is doubled (that one MG probably needs LOTS of maintenance).

And some small improvements in flight performance that are negligible when it faces Bf109s that can climb to it's altitude faster than it can ever hope to get to a base and bomb it safely.

Idk now, but it used to be good back when the 3 1000lbs could actually kill a base, as well when bombers used to be effective. Now idk, I only used the Russian B-25 a few times.

3 1000Lbs'rs can kill a base plus a bit more tho? thats over 750Kg of explosives and you only need 560 or so to take one out

Depends on mode and BR, chances are in AB you will just not destroy it and need a 2nd pass.

Last time I played it, they nerfed the bombs and it could no longer kill a base. It could kill ~90% of a base, but not the whole base. Idk if it has been changed or not.

IIRC it takes 564.56 Kg of TNT equivelint to kill a base, 2 1000Lbs'rs have juuusssst enough.
