Battle of the Bulge is a long one but a good one. Again ignore the fact that “King Tigers” are played by M46/M47 tanks (lol) and “Shermans” are played by Chaffees.
But it does a fair job at showing a lot of aspects about the Battle of the Bulge and even includes spotter aircraft which isn’t too common.
It would be funny to have the Leopards they used in game, I was really confused as to what they were supposed to be, but apparently they were supposed to resemble panthers. 76 Sherman’s vs leo panthers please.
I love irony.
Give lebanon 1/10.
The Tiger tank in that movie was actually a t-34
At least they did a better job of making it look like a tiger than Patton did.
That sounds a lot like.... HERESY!
Soldier > movie covered 1 week of his life.
Boat > 1 day
Spitfire > only 1 hour passed.
The soldier started 1 week before the climax, the boat 1 day before the climax, the spitfire 1 hour before the climax.
The times converged at different rates, until all 3 paths converged at the climax.
Essentially, the director messed with time and our heads. But the time of day didn’t change for the Spitfire, the movie for the spitfire pilot only lasted 1 hour for him.
Some unrealistic parts, but of course I mentioned “Patton” earlier where Patton’s forces were fighting German Patton tanks, so who am I to judge.
