Gaijin wont let me buy Golden Eagles

I originally played on a PS4 but have since had a computer and because my account is linked to a PS4 account Gaijin won't let me buy GE, this is very annoying and I can't find a way around it. Since it links my ENTIRE Steam account to the PS4 I am simply unable to unlock premium content. What do?

if its still the warthunder account you made through ps4 you're out of luck, sony owns that account and wont let gaijin sell you anything for it except through the ps4 store so they get a cut

anything you create through ps4 is owned by sony as per terms of service, its all on sony, gaijin cant do anything

If you are using a PS4 account you can ONLY buy stuff for that account on the PS4. Exact same complaint on the Offical forum https://forum.warthunder.com/index.php?/topic/407950-buying-eagles-on-pc-for-ps4-account/

create a new steam account. or keep buying ps4 you can go to the ps4 web store and you can still play your ps4 account.
I have two accounts ps4 and pc.
but I do not have my steam account linked to my ps4.

you can play your ps4 account on pc. just not buy with there main store. if you want to buy with steam you have to create a new pc account like I did.

not a bug,
ps accounts can only buy from ps store, so if you link you ps4 to pc, as said, you can play pc but your account is ps and you can only buy from there.

It says all this on the link ps to pc page...its why I tried the game on ps4 then binned that and started again on pc.

It’s not Gaijin blocking you from purchases.

Accounts made through Sony platforms are subject to Sony terms. If you create and account on PS4, you have to use the PS Store. It’s been this way for years. There isn’t really a way around it other than use your PC to access the PS Store and purchase something through your Sony account there. But iirc you still have to log in on the PS4 client of the game to activate purchases.

Edit: Sorry to hear you had to make a new account, best of luck in the future! If you still have the PS4 and still have purchased content, I’d recommend holding onto the old account and only logging in on PS4 to make sure purchases went through, just my opinion.
