One reason why Sweden is being added is because there aren't many nations left that are not in the game who actually have native Tank and Plane designs like Sweden. Sweden is going to include tanks from all the Nordic countries kind of like how Italy already has a Portuguese G.91 and a Romanian Fighter in it's tech tree.
As to matchmaking, for which side will neutral Sweden play? Neither Allies or Axis, neither NATO or Warsaw Pact....
9 combat aircraft, 2 photo reonnaissance aircraft, 1 battalion on the ground, with a maximum strength of 698 soldiers, and not actually as Sweden but as part of a United Nations ONUC.

Just like the Swedish particiapation with UNPROFOR in Ex-Yugoslavia 1992-1995.
They literally tried to fight the blitzkrieg with pre-great war rifles and bicycles and surrendered after 6 hours, the only shorter conflict I know of is the Anglo-Zanzibar war that lasted for about 41 minutes.
