Everyone new starts with bots to get them used to the game. Itsover soon and thres no going back.
Or a 3.0 rated vehicle
Takes u out of the newcomer zone
But then even if u skip ahead researching three tier1 vehicles to reach tier/rank/era2, its good to have somewhat evenly mtched vehicles in your lineup.
Going in with 3.0 and the rest 1.3-1.7 is gonna be tough
Its not like WOT where you can just research a single line without any others. To go to the next tier you have to resrarch at least a few in the previous one.
Researching multiple tanks / planes at the same br or as close as possible will let you field a good lineup.
No its not -.- If you want more confusing go look at World of Tanks
There's no rush, go at your own pace and search for answers / ask around when you hit a roadblock. Just know that it will take a while to truly get the hang of things and it will most likely get rough. Or maybe you'll find out that it's not your thing and quit it, which is fine too because it was free to try you can't help what you like.
The only confusing thing is the controls binding menu.... That i grant you can be a pig.
At the end of the day, you can bring multiple tanks and planes to a battle ( in realistic ground force battles at least, other modes vary ).
So in order to have a usefull lineup of vechiles, you need vechiles of similar br ( battle rating ).
Missing out entire lines of tanks will mean you miss out on really good vehicles just because the ones before them are a bit naff.
If you really get into the game you will want to collect everything anyway.
It can be very confusing; but none of us absorbed it all - or all at once. We've mostly learned as we played; and by asking questions here, or on Gaijin's forum; and/or from online searches, youtube videos, etc.. I've been playing since 2014, and there's stuff I still don't know.
boats i dont play yet, and tanks i find incredibly boring half the time so i stay up in the air.
Generally go for fighters and dont care so much of the bombers. Few bomb planes are cool and do alright but most are not good enough, and breaks too easy/spawn too low to be useful.
