Also the plane is not to be used in any sort of turn fight, if you see someone and want to go for him just use basic BnZ tactics, if you see him trying to drag you into a turn fight just go straight and don't look back, same goes if you failed the BnZ attempt, don't try to turn fight, extend in a shallow climb and try again when the enemy looses interest
The cannons are ShVak so they are kinda ♥♥♥♥♥♥ but you have 4 of them and they are nose mounted so that compansates for the lack of dmg they do, personally i recommand armored targets belts, you have the highest chances of starting fires and pilot sniping, and as long as you aim for wings you are bound to rip them in 1 or 2 short bursts
I guess the only way to describe how this plane works is to play it as a P-47, you are fast and you get faster the higher to guy, unlike a p-47 you can actually turn fight but only in short bursts and i guess you can do it against other BnZ planes but you will loose most of your energy and you have high chances of getting picked off by someone above you or that goes faster than you, any sort of turn fighting against spits or japanese planes will get you killed.
Just go fast, go high and go straight and if things don't go as you planned run away and try again.
