You have to specify which Abrams variant you’re talking about.
I’m gonna guess it’s the M1A2.

The Leopard 2A5 has better overall armour but compared to the M1A2 lacks the same firepower and survivability

So it all depends what you value most, firepower and survivability or armour?

I don’t have the M1A2 but I have the 2A5. I would take the 2A5 over the M1A2 because of being a superior hulldown tank.

From what I notice, it is harder to kill a Leopard 2A5, but M1A2 can survive a shot, however if he makes it out or at least receives help from teammates then that becomes quite a feature of some sort, at the cost of a less crew therefore less efficiency, but even then, what is the chances of that of that actually occurring at that BR?

Therefore I would definitely have to say Leopard 2A5 on this case due to better Armour and also German players and their Italian allies will actually use AA at this BR.

This is a hard question, both can be played similar, with a small margin i prefer the abrams, because in leo2a5 i only take 16 shell loadout while in the abrams i can take almost the double to ensure best survival, also the abrams have ESS screen smoke wich saved me alot in some stupid situations i got to myself in, just activated ESS and reverse at same time and even shooting smoke grenades, in the end with leo2a5 i would have died....
Both mbts are on par eachother i guess, i think most loves both and play and perform the same with both...
I can be wrong, yes, but this again, is hard question...

I have both tanks and feel more compfortable in abrams, mainly due to its thermals first zoom isnt such a big so you can see almost everything with thermals... also I like its faster, both forward and mainly backwards... I survived more shots with abrams than with 2a5 since its crew is better placed... hull down position is something else of course, bt I dont like camp hull down on spot so abrams is much better for my playstyle

Overall a M1a2 is more survivable and mobile plus it has a way better line up but hey thats doesent really matter because the drivers skill matters way more in who would win in a fight, hell ive sniped a 2A5 through the turret ring with a XM1 at a distance of a kilometre plus

this question is kind of irelevant because its basically impossible to answer without personnel bias but if it means anything Gaijin did offically say the 2A5 was the best top tier MBT but that was before the M1a2 was in the game

I think gaijin is wrong, Lclerc is the best toptier from atleast 2 patches, Alot of players dont have it, but alot of my old warthunder friends have it as me, we make a full Lclerc squads its win nonstop, even alone with mine i carry all the team alot...

Arcade differs a lot from Realistic, it’s kinda meh in RB, but I can see it being really good in AB.

Austria won the second one, with USA coming third, but apart from that Germany usually wins.

IIRC that was more about crews than the individual tanks though, for example part of the competition includes a small arms shoot and physical tasks.
