Does the game have actual bots?

I am a new player in the game and I find it to be so easy sometimes as if most of the players are actually bots. Are they?

As a brand new player you will be facing a mix of other new players and bots.
This ends after you play something like 100 games or reach rank 2..... Something like that anyway. Other people will give a more accurate figure.

I haven't seen tank or plane bots in ages, boat bots are all over though.
Look for very simple, common names in the player list, and they'll be bots. I know Boris is a Russian bot name.

That was the thing put me in suspecioun. My game had many many simple names with no access to their profiles.

One can usually differentiate a bot Boris from player B0r1s_Ace123 by their name. Also I think the very first couple of arcade air battles are all bots. By battle 5ish there will be no bots in random battles. Not sure about navy, probably some bots there.

You can play bots in test mode, bottom left mission editor sets up how you want to play.

I would use it all the time to practice maneuvers in different planes, I dont play tanks at all but would think it was the same for Tanks.

navy still uses bots and there are designated AI targets in air RB and very rarely in tank RB.

In naval RB I always complain about "Frank" or "Charlie" or whatever being a hacker or a feeder

You should've seen when plane bots were common.
They defied physics and always homed in on the closest enemy player regardless of of they could spot them or not.
