Can't purchase Golden Eagles via Steam Wallet anymore.

Whenever I hit purchase it takes me to the gaijin store giving me a lot of options to pay, paypal, card etc but none mention the steam wallet. I remember in the past it'd straight up open the steam wallet notification. Must be because of the new steam, something might have gone wrong that needs fixing or was it removed entirely?

make sure your log in via steam when starting war thunder and the option should be there. Most likely auto log in to war thunder and not using your steam account.

Sorry but how do i do that? I've always ran the game via the steam client even previously when it had worked (over a month ago).

not sure then. If you always log in with steam, it should work to my knowledge.

LOL, if that option is nolonger available. And with the EU probaly following, Belgium and the Netherlands with the law about games and lootboxes. Then it could be over for the EU players, and Gaijin's biggest source of income.

I found a partial solution.

I had the same problem a few weeks ago. Steam gave me some advice about turning off my firewall etc but nothing worked. Said it was a network problem (based on the error message I was getting).

So i had money in my steam wallet but I seemingly couldn't spend on War Thunder.

It had always worked previously and I've always logged in via steam.

In the end i realised that i can still buy Golden eagles but only in small chunks of about £3 at a time. That enabled me to slowly convert the steam wallet money back into Golden Eagles. But it is a pain as I miss out on the discount i should have got from getting the Golden Eagles in one bigger amount.

If I try to buy them in bigger amounts it just takes money from my bank account into my steam wallet then says it can't complete the purchase of the Golden Eagles. Which is tantamount to theft, in my view.

works now, works since awhile i think they fixed it, was mentioned in some patch notes awhile back as well

It's still broken on mine. I just tried it. I can't even get my workaround to work now. So no Golden Eagles for me.

Can I ask - is this the message people are getting? It's what I get after I give Steam my money and am meant to 'return to the transaction'. I get it even if I've turned off all my firewalls etc. Have you found a solution?:

"Error Code: -105
Unable to connect to server. Server may be offline or you may not be connected to the internet."

Sorry for posting this reponse on two threads, but there are two threads running on this issue right now and I don't want to miss out on a technical solution.
