Often you want to slow down as soon as you start driving, to let you get close/accurate and still be able to pull up. Try your airbrake if you have one and/or reducing your throttle as you enter a dive.
Diving from above can make it safer to attack anti-air enemy who can't aim well vertically.
Howevet diving and climbing can lose you a lot of speed, making you vulnerable to attack.
Experienced players often have good bomb aim so prefer to maintain good horizontal speed while bombing, relying less on diving to aim well.
Proper bombers have a special view (which you can toggle to - mine is linked to my V key) that gives you accurate bombing sights. That lets you bomb from higher altitudes without any need for diving.
- reduce / turn off throttle depending on your speed
- keep your target in the middle of your crosshair and plane nose
- slam spacebar then you reach close enough und pull up with increased throttle
dive at a 45 degree angle and once the tank is right infront of your nose, drop the bomb and pull up
