WHERE IS MARDER, LUCHS AND CO. ?
So we have meatball ferraris going 110kmh on roads at BR 3.3, supersonic jets, helicopters and multiple modern MBT's etc. etc. Every significant nation has an IFV, russians have BMP-2, brits have the Warrior, murica's got the Bradley, Japan has the Type 89. While the Italians cruise around BR 7.7 with their 2006 Centauros, utterly disgusting btw for my King Tiger which was built in 1944 Germany remains untouched without modern IFV's or wheeled recon vehicles. What's with the Luchs and the Marder IFV ?? How about bringing them in ?! And fix that game jesus. Getting rekt by 21st century TDs in a King Tiger is really fun. This meta is toxic. And jesus christ update the physics already...

The Luchs is not an IFV, it's a scout vehicle with a single 20mm and a single 7.62mm machinegun. WTF are you gonna do with that in the game?

Where did I say the Luchs is an IFV. I referred to it as a wheeled recon. The Luchs would round up the german techtree in late game. It's mobility is fantastic, so is its optics and camo. The main armament is okay. 20mm with APFSDS should be enough for some side and most rear armor. Imo it would fit best where the Leo 1 sits. Why not ?

It didn't even have 20mm APFSDS, it had APDS. And why not? Because it's garbage, that's why. I'd rather have the devs use their time on useful stuff.

Nice arguing. Whether its APDS or APFSDS doesnt even matter, the Marder had the same BMK. Because its garbage isnt even an argument. Depends on which BR you put it. It certainly would be a nice scout.

And here ladies and gentalmen we another guy that can't understand that vehicles are balanced around performance and not year of fabrication.

You really think a Tiger II can perform equally with a Centauro ? Hah, not really...

No, i never expect a 6.7 tank to be on par with a 7.7, just like i don't expect a T34 to be on par with it, or an FV4202. Plus the Tiger II in real life was made without the limitations of weight and such, the only reason it wasn't a beast in real life and it's performace was mediocre is because it would break down so fast and so often that they would rarely even get into a fight, but here we don't have those drawbacks.

That's my point. It just feels wrong to get sniped by a 2006 tank destroyer from 2km away in a 1944 heavy tank. Neither is it fair. I'm not saying its overpowered. BR 8.0 would fit better for it. But that's not what I was talking about, I still want my Luchs and Marder. Don't see why they shouldn't be in the game.

Well France has ♥♥♥♥♥♥ recon vehicle because its a 3.3 chassis with the same 17 hp/ton ratio thrown into 9.0 with only 6 ATGM to do anyhting relevent with subpar mobility and no possibility to exploit the little it has thanks to a 5kmh reverse forcing you to loose a lot of time to react or go back into cover

Only wheeled recon tank is misslabeled as a medium despite being a recon IRL and has a lot of broken feature such as missing 50% of its max incline climb, getting hullbroken by getting shot exclusively in the gun barrel and auto bouncing at certain suspension position but thats for everyone

Also they added the wrong version we needed the TLM-105 turret not another unstabilised tank in a massively lackluster lineup in that regard

You guys got at east the Bagelpanzer wich is by a long shot better suited than what France got past 8.0 in any way aside the bugged AMX-40

Yeah my bad
It had 30mm of armor and a max speed of 64 km/h

Probably a very fun 2.0-2.3 tank
