Rockets or bombs?
So is 8 or 16 or 24(tell me which 1) rp-3 rockets or 2 1000lbs bombs(290kg explosive mass), is more worth it?, i know how to use both pretty good(i can aim my bombs 95% of the times to kill the enemy tank, and like 75% chance of hitting with rockets.
(this is a repost, noone answered this on the feedback tab)

Can you aim rockets? Yes? Choose rockets.
Can't aim rockets? Bombs.

In general I'd take rockets if I know the enemy is rolling soft targets, and if not just try and nail from the top or side/rear.
With rockets you can also kill more tanks as well if your good enough.

aight, i totally wouldve chosen bombs if they droped 2x instead of both at once, but they dont. so yeah, ima go for rockets, thx

RP-3s are not worth it in my opinion. They rarely penetrate tanks and if they do, they don’t kill too often. They don’t even kill light pillboxes in Air RB, they require 2 or more direct hits. I personally would much rather use the bombs that are more reliable at destroying a target in both modes, and fly away instead of staying and trying to precisely aim the low damage rockets that will just get you killed by an enemy fighter or SPAA.

Unless really talking about really big rockets, generally I just use rockets in ground RB if referring about ground RB against light targets. You can kill light vehicles easily but not heavier ones in most cases without big rockets, and rockets instead of bombs is when I want to come in fast because there are potential enemy fighters, and HVARs and stuff don’t effect flight performance much. If using an F6F or something, I may just take HVARs if I have the SP, even though I prefer to play the air-to-air game.

RP3 needs to be at a steep angle for it to be effective, in contrast the bombs are no good either since they nerfed for GFRB which in turn affected AirRB.
There's is only one plane I'e found RP-3's worth using in ground RB is Vampire. due to the rocket's being so close to the fuselage, you can fire them really accurately.
