Karelia is one of the very best maps here............ along with white rock and carpathians ......

So by your own admission, the skill of a tanker has plenty more to do with success rather than map design???....and it all simply boils down to a L2P issue. Seems all these posts whining about maps are simply people with issues beyond that which can be attributed to map design!!
Some are so open they devolve into a boring campfest across a huge field, some are extremely imbalanced such that one team wins almost all the time, some have terribly placed spawns such that they limit playstyle, some maps have terrain that punishes certain vehicles, some maps are just very limiting in terms of tactical flexibility.
There are dozens of good reasons to dislike a map, reasons Gaijin should pull their heads out of their collective arses and change them, that you simply wade in with what is tantamount to "lolol l2p scrub" says more about you than anything else.
But for me, I have to agree though Middle East has to be either the worst, or top 3 worst.
This is a tank game, not an infantry game. Add a real map!
It came with the 2017(?) April fools event — quite fitting, since it is a total joke for a map.
yikes you seem awfully keen to start a fight. go take the hostility somewere else please. and yes, skill makes the greatest differentce in any map.
