Why did they remove maus?

Sure it has 200 250mm armor and a 128mm cannon but... enemies it faces usually have heat and sabot to destroy it ez, the speed it has is very slow, even if you cant penetrate as normal trap shoots work way easier than on any other tank because its size.

Basically its a struggle to use, you mostly will get bombed in no time or die to heat, sabot or trap shoot like in any other tank that has armor so why did they remove it? I still see for example t95 at 7.0 with more armor than the maus at least in the front.

What is the issue they had with the tank to end removed from the game to newer players?

What about the panther 2? Its basically a normal panther with 88mm cannon and a decent reverse speed, thats pretty much it for 1 br higuer than 75mm panthers, where is the issue there?

Or that flakpanther thingy, the roof is made of paper so every plane at that br will eat it for breakfast whats the issue with it? Its basically a panther without panther capabilities lol

Oh and before someone says "but but cant penetrate maus" yes you can, if youre brit oh boi since 6.7 they eat armor for breakfast and even if you have a cannon as low penetration as 122mm soviet you will be able to trap shoot or disabled him fast.

Well then they need to remove, is3 is 6 and is4m because you know... they get one shooted often and oh boi the amount of tanks that get one shooted... lol

Isnt it the players choice to use the tank they want? Like if I wanted to use a freaking m22 in a 10 br game I have all the rights to do so thats not the reasson to remove the tank.

You've gotten your answer, everything else is only your opinion, as in irrelevant. It was making everyone involved miserable. No matter where you place it it's either nearly invulnerable or a slow + big + defenseless target. Even at its own exact BR (without the usual +/-1) it's nearly invulnerable against some tanks and largely helpless against the others. They were tired of hearing constant complaints from both sides and decided to remove it from the research tree.

As for the other ones that were removed, the reason for them is that they were never fully built in metal. As in not even fully function prototypes existed.

It is perfectly balanced at 7.7, you know what would be unbalanced? A is-7 at 7.7 that is what is called unbalanced tank.

Following that sense they should not have removed the maus because it was indeed built, removing a tank because irl it wasnt used in war or made is just a load of bs, is like the is-3 that tank didnt even shoot in ww2 that doesnt means in a videogame it isnt cool to be able to experience what it could have be irl.

If we start with the historical argument that doesnt makes sense because this game is far from realistic, if it was, you wasnt fighting a is-6 on a tiger 2 like how the situation is currently.

If someone dont believe it just need to take a look at the helicopters for example the most obvious in 1 br diference there is a HUGE diference between helicopters yet there they are, you go into a helicopter mode and all you will see is your tiny little weak helicopter facing others that are superior on every aspect.

I mean I own the premium German Bo.. literally a scam and not worth even 5 bucks.

You get missiles with 3km range that move at 300m/s.. meanwhile the Ka-50 at .3 BR higher gets 6 missiles with 10km range and 600m/s whilst also having I think 2 air to air missiles that are 6km or something, on top of a few dozen rockets they can use.

And a bunch of other loadouts but it's so superior in every single way it's ridiculous.
meanwhile the Bo is a waste of time and money.. most helicopters are that aren't the Ka-50

That just with a 0.3 br diference just imagine the pain on the helicopters 1 br lower, not long ago I remenber looking for 9.0 matches with the starter heli from germany that literally only has 2km range using the same rockets found on the 7.7 and 7.3 tanks.

No, I'm saying why they were removed because in one case it was just a mockup and in the other it never existed in the form in-game. The J6K1 and E-100 are exceptions to these rules since they're limited-time event vehicles.

Actually 341's turrets were made, hulls were made and production was diverted to regular Panthers, and the Panther 2's hull was made, never the turret, in fact the hull is apparently in the "Patton Museum Of Calvary And Armour" it's on display with a Panther G turret as a place holder. So take it as you will.
P.S I don't know about the 105 KT but, the chassis and turret could not support the gun.

The Panther 2 in-game is a work of fiction. There were numerous suggestions in the development of a Panther successor, some being using the Schmallturm, some wanted to improve the hull armour, improving the main armament was also considered. The Panther 2 in-game is an absolute Frankenstein, merging all these seperate proposals into a work of fiction. If you have the Panther 2, you can view the X-Ray, and compare the 88mm gun breech to the one on the King Tiger. They had to shrink it. IRL, the breech would stick out the of the backside and there is no way any crew would fit on. You can make a case for the Coelian, but IMO the Panther 2 being removed was both justified and good. What sucks is that Gaijin didn't put in another mobile 6.7 tank for Germany, which is a whole different discussion.
