Thank you for contacting Thrustmaster Tech Support
The Hotas Cougar is an older model that was made to work only on Windows 98SE/Me/2K/XP/VISTA
It will not work on Windows 7, 8, 8.1 or 10.
They're so far behind they don't even realize people are using this HOTAS on anything past VISTA.
Incredible.
Ripley just sent you an invite. Would have sent it earlier but couldn't figure out.
Turns out the only way is to add you to my friend list.
Anyway anything you can do to help would be great.
Thrustmaster sure wasn't any help.
Ahhhh Thrustmaster. I have loved their controllers for decades but absolutely abhore their support.
I going to park this here for anyone who can't find the original post in the ED forum
This is the OP, https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=181049

They aren't cheap, but bring alive those systems to USB and to W10... and they works.
If you need a new control stick, you can buy the A-10 Warthog without need to buy the rest for you can use your Cougar Stick on the RealSimulator FSSB-R3 Lighting (it is a force control, not a displacement control)... I can't say notthing about it yet... on a month I will buy one of those.
