How do I get Thrustmaster HOTAS Cougar Flight Controllers with RCS working in this game?

I have an original unopened Thrustmaster HOTAS Cougar Flight control system. I also have the TM Rudder Pedals previously used on older TM flight controllers.
The controllers were purchased in 2004 so I know all the software in the box is out of date.
From what I understand the TM web site is useless for any help.

Does anybody know how I go about getting these setup to not only run on this game but Windows 10 altogether?

Finally heard from Thrustmaster. This was their response.

The Hotas Cougar is an older model that was made to work only on Windows 98SE/Me/2K/XP/VISTA
It will not work on Windows 7, 8, 8.1 or 10.

They're so far behind they don't even realize people are using this HOTAS on anything past VISTA.

Dont use hotas off the predefind list with in wt use the set up wizard then do alot of tweaking ... i use the thustmaster warthog and get great results ab rb and sb i also use vr ..fantastic...good luck.

This post is about how to get your Thrustmaster Cougar Hotas working in Windows 10, although it does reference DCS, After the HOTAS is working, they do for BMS Falcon, DCS and War Thunder, but might need a profile tweak.

If everything fail, use RealSimulator TUSBA and RUSBA (TUSBA for Cougar Thurst stick and RUSBA for any Rudder that can be used on Cougar HOTAS... both without Control Stick.

They aren't cheap, but bring alive those systems to USB and to W10... and they works.

If you need a new control stick, you can buy the A-10 Warthog without need to buy the rest for you can use your Cougar Stick on the RealSimulator FSSB-R3 Lighting (it is a force control, not a displacement control)... I can't say notthing about it yet... on a month I will buy one of those.

Is a quick update everybody 98 windows seems to be working But I've tried both Vista packages on their site and it says that they're incompatible and you should try to redownload it I've had some success with using the war thunder setting up
