What aircraft are you playing?
But they have more HE/incendry
Umm...
Lolwut
Except they are litteraly the best turnfighters in the game and are extremely fun to dogfight with?
its not that im complaining because the planes are bad, but the americans is just too good. whenever i play against ussr, i get into really fun and challenging dogfight and nonstop action.
but against americans, no. they just strike you down and run into the cloud. just simply outplayed.
it makes the game not fun anymore.
Japanese 20s really do seem to do nothing, but the Type 5 30mms are the best 30mm cannons in the game. The J2M5 (30mm) is hilarious to use at the moment. It's an absolute beast at 4.7 and 74 rounds is easily enough for 5 kills.
I agree that US planes are a nightmare to fight when they're played correctly. You just can never get a shot on them unless they make a serious mistake, it's quite difficult. The A6M5 can dive around 700KMH no problem, which means you can chase down Allied planes and snipe them.
As for the jets ripping... never experienced that before. The Kikka is now one of the best initial jets in the game thanks to the cannon and engine buff. It's better than the 7.0 Me 262 and sits at 6.7.

Which makes since when you say the US are too good: when fighting your average US player you usually win but when facing an experienced opponent who knows what he’s doing, you have some issues. Because unsurprisingly, US planes are specifically the best planes to use against Japanese aircraft: unless using an early War aircraft like the F4F or whatever, US planes are usually faster than the Japanese counterparts with stronger engines, and their high velocity easy to aim rapid fire flame throwing .50 cals do massive damage to unarmored Japanese aircraft. The US does best because many of their aircraft were specifically designed and built to kill Japanese aircraft.
