Asking vavle to do an investigation will solve the problem. "spyware or not "

gaijin net agent has been complained about since the day it was added but only the most terribly misinformed actually believe it to be malware. its an update checker for gaijin games not just warthunder which is installed alongside warthunder (yes without asking, its just a utility connected to the game) but not uninstalled automatically with the game because it is used by all gaijins games. all you need to do is manually remove it from your programs listing or remove warthunder from its update list if you still have gaijin games which need it
I never understood what the fuss was about until I enabled beta version (I think, this was a few months ago) for testing out the enlisted game, let me just say I finally understood what people were crying about before, I had to end up completing disabling the launcher and doing advanced registery editing to "fix" it, so I understand why people are upset.

Has an admin/mod ever offiically replied to this community concern? I didn't see them reply to those reviews either (but tbf it's mostly indie game devs/community managers I see respond and help reviewers)

It renables itself every time, unless you change or do some other things.
And yes, while it's very hard to get rid off and a HUGE turn off for new players, it's technically not malware/spyware.

When it first arrived i completely removed it in a way it never could come back. Would forget it was ever a thing till i saw a forum post.
PC had issues(still havent got around to fixing) just changed to laptop and installed game. It reenabled itself everytime i disabled it. Gave up trying to use its own options to stop it.

No idea why but can confirm it does reenable itself for some ppl.

It has an app that loads in the background when you run the launcher, and it remains running permanently unless you manually terminate it or restart your computer. But it will install itself permanently again next time you start war thunder, regardless of what you do. Without seeing the source code, it is impossible to know what that app is doing in the background. It could be doing anything. Including data mining. Considering the app doesn't need to be running at all, despite what people claim about it keeping the game up to date (this is nonsense, the game keeps itself up to date without this app) it should be assumed that whatever that app is doing, it isn't related to War Thunder gameplay. So, yeah. Spyware is a good guess.

And vaccines cause autism?

It does keep the game up to date, you can update it yourself opening the launcher and letting it update it. GJA just does it in the background.(Which isnt always ideal without deciding when it does it).
Rest of your post just shows how bias you are. No proof, pretty much entirely negative and pretty much willing to confirm its spyware without proof.

Dont get me wrong, im not saying it isnt. It may be. But it does update etc. And you can permanently get rid of it, its just annoying to do so.
Mr. Midori Aug 2, 2018 @ 4:47pm
Lol, it's simply the game updater. No need to worry.

...autism???....that is just foolishness. Truthfully, though, it is a well kept secret that aliens use to propogate their DNA throughout our gene pool. The common cold is simply an alergic response to the invading alien DNA.
no spyware no hacks no developer friendships just skillz my brotha
