f84g vs f86a5

which one should i save for? ive heard ill have bad times with the f86 since its uptiered a lot. the f84g is meh compared to the f86 though and its usually top tier.

F-84G is very good for it´s br, but since I only have the italian one, I can´t say anything for or against the F-80...

F84G definitely. Only get the F86A5 if you want the F-2. The F86A5 is easily one of the worst planes I've played with, especially if it's stock.

the f86a is capable which can dogfight russians but the obsurd stock grind and performance is infuriating, especially facing swarms of CL-13a will guarentee a loose. the cycle repeats itself due to nerfed SL and RP gains across the whole game, and the already mentioned stock performance and grind. F84G is a speedster but the constant uptiering it gets makes it hard to recommend either one of them.

The primary problem with the F-86-A5 is that literally every 9.0 BR is better than it because it doesn't have comperable engine performance. It's smaller than it's other F-86 counter parts which allows for it to have tighter turns, but that's not much of a bonus in 9.0 Jet combat where BnZ is king and is highly dependent on your engine power.

so then the f84g would make for a more enjoyable experience as there are no planes between tier 9 and tier 8. its worst enemies would be the me 163, g91 and other f84g's. right?

I can't quite objectively comment on this. I aquired the F-86s when there was literally only the F-80C Shootingstar and the three F-86 variants at the end of US tech tree years ago. I have very little knowledge on anything inbetween.

I can comment plenty on the F-86s though. I can't say I had a bad experience with the A-5, but it was certainly not an easy experience when you compare it to the F-86-F25 and F-86-F2.

so its maybe a little better if i go with the f84g over the f86a5 because of matchmaking issues. i really want a sabre though, theyre so cool. well i have a milion dollars to earn to make my decision.
