Kursk is boring because of the size alone. And unbalanced because it favors long range cannons and armored tanks.
Most of the maps are at least ok in my opinion.
edit: Fulda is terrible
The town section is too small, you're covered by houses only if you're in the exact centre, everywhere else you can be seen all across the map from at least one direction.
There are no scattered bumps, hills or low, hard cover; which favours Soviet cancer heavies.
You can snipe into the enemy's spawn by driving up the hill next to your own spawn.
Overall the map is too flat and too open.
And worst of all, it is smaller than Abandoned Factory, despite it being an exclusive high tier map (or I haven't ♥♥♥♥♥♥ it in lower tiers yet). I thought Gaijin learnt that we don't want any more small maps.
I guess it could be intepereted 2 main ways I see:
-if you don’t like playing on the map or don’t like how it looks.
-if you legitimately think the map is just terrible the way it plays for the gamemode and how it is set up for the gamemode.
For example, if I had to say:
I dislike this map too, while in RB and SB I play, it’s not a bad map for the mode as it’s more realistic and the larger version is larger than most tiny AB maps in RB and AB - perhaps if the spawnpoints were revised and the largest versions only were used, it would be fun.
Italy I think would fit in the second option for me because I feel Italy isn’t set up for RB and SB. Italy is actually a big map, but the largest version currently only set up for the town to be the entire center, and in a WoT feeling parallel with the east and west spawns, etc. Italy isn’t set up very well for RB and Sb I believe, however, unlike some people (Italy is probably the most overall hated map), I actually kind of enjoy the map, at all tanks. So perhaps in the future rB and SB variant of the map be the larger version, or in general set up to feel more realistic?
Middle East I believe fits in both: it’s a joke that’s in SB, much less RB. The map is probably the smallest in game, for Cold War tanks no less, you can spawncamp from the other side of the map easily, the map is compressed and looks ugly, it’s kind of realistic looking but the shear small size kind of makes it feel more like a WoT map, so more of a ‘we tried some effort to make it look like Syria, however it’s more of a battle arena if anything’ (ok tbh that description is kind of realistic thinking about it), but the map is horrible to play on for most RB and SB players, it isn’t realistic, and it should be kept in AB where it belongs never to return.
At least this is my interpretation of 2 major ways people judge maps in WT.

Ground forces???......let's see.......coming into contact with from substantial heights can can cause serious injury?? .....is that what you're inquiring about?
