Playing air instead of ground for sl.

I personally do fantastic with a 3.0-3.3 air arcade lineup. Nothing but .50 cal fighters with bomb loads.

For tanks, a 3.7 line works. 4.7 if you’re good at making the 75mm on the jumbo kill the heavy tanks it faces in RB ( I’ll never tank AB)

Air battles in arcade will make you the most though. I go to my 3.0 line anytime I get a good SL booster. I always get at least 12 kills while also taking out the most ground targets.

I got into WT to Tank, I have no interest in flying. I only play AB ground forces and hate having to deal with Planes while playing as a Tanker. I would love a Tanking ONLY AB option NO Planes. Eh, aircraft were what War Thunder started off with, before they had tanks at all, and close air support was a role players wanted with the same damage models like tanks had. They were always going to be a part of ground battles. However, because of how planes work in AB, I will only ever play RB (there are other reasons like floating nameplates too). Planes in AB tanks don’t cost the player anything so they will suicide crash to drop bombs as accurately as possible. RB is a vastly better mode for tanks simply because you need to value your plane due to the high SP costs that losing the plane is a pretty big hit unless you’re doing exceptionally well. I just find it the better mode. Air goes both ways, AB and RB are both playable and enjoyable, but tank AB I personally feel is the worst mode the game offers.

I hate them and will NOT play them EVER. This is EXACTLY why WT NEEDS a Tank ONLY AB Option. Why should the Fly Boys have a Planes ONLY OPTION and the Tankers NOT have the same option.

I didn't know that WT started with planes only and would not of been interested in WT if it was planes only today. I love Tank games so I looked into WT and WoT and liked the graphics better in WT. This has GOT TO STOP it's NOT RIGHT that a Tanker can park their Tank get a FREE Plane to drop bombs as accurately as possible destroying as many as 4 tanks. That's why WT NEEDS a TANK ONLY AB OPTION.

I’m tellin ya, unless there is some significant reason you don’t play RB, it’s the better mode for tanks. Planes are still there, but since they cost the same points as your tanks do to spawn, players try to keep them flying as much as possible. They’re much less annoying than in AB.

Yeah, I mean I'm learning the US Grizzly with the 75mm right now. Still crash on the dive every so often, only used it about 3 times so far. Just bought it with the 50% off right now. Still, top shotting an IS-1 that is giving your team the business is incredibly satisfying. I dunno my actual income, its always high enough to earn about 2-300k per day (with premium) in only a few hours of playtime. Though I tend to average about 1st to 5th place in terms of the stat screen ranking, often being the top scoring player. Still, as long as you find a BR you do very well in, you will profit SL no problem.
