What repair and ammo cost?!

I see people talking about repair and ammo costs. I never see any of this being a thing. I play Arcade and Realisitc battles and never see a cost for ammo or repairs. Am I missing something can someone explain this to me please!

you repair and ammo expenses wont be listed on the battlerepport, you have to click the little envolope icon at the bottom and look under battles, there every thing will be listed.
if you mouse over any plane or tank in the researchtree you can see what a given plane/tank cost to repair.

Oh so even in arcade you have to do a repair cost? Does this mean if you take less ammo in you pay less?

yes even arcade has repair costs,and no, i believe you only pay for what you use, not what you bring.

When you lose the vehicle then you need to pay full repair cost as listed in research tree and vehicle description. If your vehicle is not destroyed then you pay some of this cost depending on damage you took.
For ammo you only pay for what you use, by individual shells for tanks and by ammo belts for planes. Default ammo is usually free, advanced ammo types you unlock will cost you.

Also if you research a new vehicle then first ten matches with it there is no repair cost.

Non-primary ammo costs money, for example if you unlock a new shell, I’ll cost money to use over the primary shell(s) you were given (most tanks it’s just 1 AP shell and 1 HE shell). 95% of the time they are pretty cheap though, shell cost isn’t something to worry about until you start using HEAT-FS and stuff at rank 5-6.

If you look at the stat card, I’ll say ‘max repair cost’, it is different per vehicle and tier. It also very slightly increases the more mods you unlock. It really doesn’t effect much though unless you are playing say rank 5-6, rank 4 if playing RB.

Next to the research button there should be a checked ammo and wrench button, it means automatic ammo replenishing and repairs are on. I actually recommend turning off auto repairs, as:
1. Gives you a better clue how much you’re paying for repairs.
2. Vehicles actually slowly repair themselves over time. If you leave them out overnight after you’re done, they will actually cost less SL to repair the next day, or at low tier they may be completely repaired for free.

Btw you can diasble auto-repair by unchecking a box in the bottom left part of the menu. (above the lineup)
This way your vehicles can be repaired for free over time by your crews. While it usually takes days at higher ranks, every second they repair reduce the repair price of the vehicle. Take avantage of this when you are not home or sleeping

Thanks for the help guys. Im only just researching my first Tier 3 Tank. I doubt ill get to T6 anytime soon.

I recommend the free repair tactic as it helps you regardless of tier to save a couple thousand SL, but at rank 3 you don’t have to worry about ammo - pick the best ammos, ignore price, you’ll easily make up for it.
