The Bf-109 may be a good plane, but, with a little determination, it can be fought against. As far as I can recall, the Mustang turns a bit tighter than this 109. Try luring it into a turnfight. Also, you should always try to get the altitude advantage. If that's not possible, horizontally flat evasive maneuvers are often effective, make it lose it's energetic advantage and go for the kil.

If they flew like P-51s, they'd be highly competitive against the F4 at that BR.

Especially if folks learn how to fly at its optimal combat speed.

As a player with the 109s as my favorite aircraft in game, and owning every non-premium 109, I can say with confidence that the Bf 109F-4 is strongest 109 for it’s BR.

Why do you lot keep calling for Nerfs , buff the others Im sick to death of nerfs and gaijin wrecking the flight model of good planes, do you want a game full of wrecked planes , its nearly there.

And learn to fly and you can fly for or go against any fighter no problems at all, its always a newbie being killed crying nerfs.

The American planes don't have many options, considering they often aren't made for turnfighting and their energy retention generally being subpar, or at least matched by the German 109's, however this is negated by the fact that American planes suck at climbing in comparison.
